CSRA Happy Tails Rescue is an all volunteer non-profit organization. What this means is no volunteer is paid for their service and all funds needed to save these cats and dogs comes through generous donations. We are a family friendly organization, we have quite a few children volunteering with Happy Tails. If you would like to help Happy Tails in savings lives, please consider....
VOLUNTEERING! We are always in need of volunteers for the many tasks involved with saving so many pets from our shelters. There are many types of volunteer tasks, so everyone can find something that's suitable to their life and available time. Volunteer activities such as ~ transporting pets to and from vet appointments ~ fundraising ~ events and festivals ~ fostering FOSTER HOMES IN DESPERATE NEED! We currently need foster homes for our cats and dogs, many more need saving and we're limited by the number of available foster homes. Please consider opening your heart and home to a foster pet. Happy Tails provides the vet care, the foster parent provides the love, care and food. We frequently have food donations that are provided to foster homes, but your purchases of food are tax deductible. Happy Tails often has outdoor pens, dog houses and other supplies for foster homes as well. DONATIONS! Can't Volunteer or Foster but still want to help? Please consider making a tax deductible donation... Mail monetary donations to: Happy Tails Rescue Inc.

| Gabrielle's Birthday Gift...to Happy Tails!
Gabrielle Kline, of Evans, recently celebrated her 8th birthday. As she and her mother planned her party, she decided to select a theme that would benefit homeless pets.
Her mother purchased several stuffed dogs, one for each guest, and throughout the party, the dogs and the guests participated in some unique games. These included an obedience course, an agility course and some listening and exercise activities. They even held a 'mock' adoption activity!
In lieu of gifts, the guests were asked to bring donations for Happy Tails Rescue. The children were very generous in providing food, biscuits, leashes, collars and toys for animals awaiting permanent homes.
We would like to extend a very special THANK YOU to Gabrielle and her family for this heartfelt gesture. We are extremely proud to have been the recipients of such a thoughtful and creative celebration!!
Special note: Gabrielle is a youth volunteer at Superpetz on Sundays during our adoptions. |
